I know exactly ow you are feeling at this moment and I am not upset to hear and read this, but I am very excited because I can see God is working miracles in your life and mind right now. Humility is a struggle and one that Christ mastered perfectly. It is not about trying to be last or trying to choose to be last, but recognizing as God revealed to you that we are called to be last. We are called to be the least so that others can be the FIRST to see God's eternal glory. You are right, the Lord did not say at any point in the bible that our lives as Christians and Christ-followers would be easy, but he did say that through our suffering and in our times of suffering He will speak to us (Job 36:15). God is making his speech to you OUTLOUD, He is knowingly bringing affliction so that you can draw closer to Him. Rejoice, for we know these are the times we are close enough to our Father that we can hear and feel His heartbeat. As He reveals Himself to you I pray you can hear EVERYTHING He is saying to you, even the small things.

~LaurenLauren Elise Bondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06798475383383397658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15550128412407859.post-78779556304942988632010-03-19T07:08:49.405-07:002010-03-19T07:08:49.405-07:00I'm so proud of you and the work you're do...I'm so proud of you and the work you're doing. I ...Little by little He will reveal Himself to you. I love that God speaks, although sometimes in tough situations as with the young boy you encountered, and leads us where He wants us. Don't forget that we are fighting a battle.....that being said, there is no doubt in my mind that you are the man for the job. Embrace it because you are going to be used in such a mighty might way. I really liked reading this post, Bird, even though it hurt my heart so much to read about that young boy. We are so so blessed and so so able to do way more than we do. Humility is one of the hardest fruits to bear, in my opinion, but also one of the most important. Be encouraged because the God we serve loves you enough to take you somewhere completely foreign, and yet give you a peace that surpasses all understanding. Praise the Lord for His Hand that is guiding you!
Loving you and bathing you in prayer,
Cars
"He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure." -Isaiah 33:6Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03104500588330747569noreply@blogger.com
